
Rayzigerson Rodney Chai
Research Assistant
Rayzigerson Rodney Chai (AKA Ray) completed his BSc (Hons) in Animal Science and Management in 2018 from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. He is interested in anything related to wildlife, especially entomology. Before he graduated, he was assisting Cindy Cosset, a PhD student from Sheffield University, who was using mist-netting to study the impact of logging on avian community ecology and reproductive physiology in the Danum Valley Conservation Area (June-September 2018).
Currently Ray is working as a research assistant at Danau Girang Field Centre and will soon start his MSc in Universiti Malaysia Sabah surveying markets selling meat of wild animals.
