Daniel had heard people talking about DGFC before he started worked with us. He has a huge interest in protecting the environment and wildlife. Daniel was interested with the research that DG was doing and applied for it. Knowing that there are some animals that are already extinct, it concerned him a lot because he thinks our children or the future generations will not able to see some of the animals in the future. With this fact, he decided to dedicate himself to the conservation of our wildlife. The MONKEYBAR project that Daniel was supporting will give us some knowledge about the behaviour of macaques and a lot more. It gives people knowledge about this type of malaria (Plasmodium knowlesi, also known as simian malaria) and also promotes awareness.
