Danau Girang Field Centre is a non-profit organisation and a self-sustainable research centre.
Despite the travel restrictions the financial impact the COVID-19 pandemic brought, DGFC is still undertaking its core activities in support of ongoing ecological research, education and environmental protection. We have also managed to cater for its visiting students and scientists, albeit on a reduced scale.
To respond to the challenges, past and ahead, we inevitably have become more reliant upon our financial reserves and, therefore, wish to record our sincere thanks to those stakeholders and donors who have lent their support during these extraordinary years.
